Social commerce Startup Kitsy Lane Banks $3.5 million

On top of a $1 million seed round supplied last year by Point Judith Capital and angel investors, Kitsy Lane announced a $3.5 million funding round led by Data Point Capital and Longworth Venture Partners. Kitsy Lane, dubbed “the Tupperware party of the Twitter era,”¬†allows anyone to launch their own online jewelry and accessories boutique for free. The company says that revenues have been growing 40 percent month-to-month.
